At ReSee, we believe that fashion is more than just clothing - it’s heritage, craftsmanship, and cultural history. Our curation process is designed to uphold these values and ensure that every piece listed on our platform embodies the highest standards of quality, desirability, and authenticity.
An Editor’s Eye, A Collector’s Standard
Founded by two fashion editors with backgrounds at Vogue and Self Service Magazine, ReSee approaches resale with the same rigor as a magazine cover shoot. We don’t just accept inventory - we select it. Each submission undergoes a detailed review by our team of fashion experts, who assess its design, relevance, condition, and alignment with ReSee’s style code: timeless, rare, and desirable.
What We Accept
We welcome standout pieces from recognized luxury houses and cult designers, across clothing, handbags, shoes, jewelry, and accessories. From archival runway items to coveted minimalist staples, we look for:
- Unique design value or historical significance
- Exceptional condition or restorability
- Brands and designers listed in our approved directory
- Strong seasonal or collector appeal
We proudly accept pieces by brands like Alaïa, Chanel, Hermès, Saint Laurent, Phoebe Philo-era Céline, Tom Ford-era Gucci, and more. Each item must meet our editorial and technical standards to be considered for listing.
What We Decline
To protect our buyers and brand equity, we decline:
- Mass-produced items with no luxury pedigree
- Items in poor or irreparable condition
- Items from brands not listed on our curation list
- Outdated styles that do not align with current collector or stylist demand
If a piece is declined, it’s never personal, it’s a matter of quality, relevance, and fit with our platform’s identity.

Each accepted piece is professionally photographed, contextualized within fashion history, and editorialized by our in-house team. From identifying a rare runway reference to spotlighting iconic moments in pop culture, we turn each product page into a collectible archive.
Working with Sellers
Many of our sellers are stylists, editors, collectors, and fashion insiders. We work closely with them to ensure a seamless process:
- Free pick-up and concierge service in select cities
- Expert support in pricing and positioning
- VIP storage and packaging
- Personal relationship built on trust and transparency
